Lately I’ve been really focused on developing my color themes, and creating new art within them. I know when I buy design assets from other designers, it’s a huge plus when all the styles and colors coordinate perfectly. It saves tons of time to just find what you need in the colors you want. So it doesn’t surprise me that crafters and designers often ask me for various art sets in coordinating colors.
Accentuate Your Color Schemes
This week I started drawing a new collection called “Accents“. The new collection will be made up of basic art and patterns to accent my other art sets. Kind of like accessories to an outfit. They’re not meant to be the star of the show, but to accentuate the colors in the rest of the design.
Each Accents art set will be available in all of my existing color schemes. That way, if someone needs additional banners, labels or seamless patterns to match a creation made with my other art, they’ll be able to find it in exactly the right colors. Talk about a time saver!
I thought I’d offer one of my first Accents sets as my May freebie to see what everyone thinks of the idea.
