Free Floral Wreath Vectors for August

Free Vector Wreaths

You wouldn’t know it from my blog, but it’s been a busy month! I’ve been working like crazy on several new art sets, each available in a ton of colors. Today I want to share one of those sets with you for free!

Bye Bye Summer

Summer is coming to a close here in Toronto. The weather this week has been on the grey and chilly side – I had to get my little guys long PJ’s out last night! The kids are heading back to school in less than 2 weeks. It definitely feels like fall is on it’s way. I say it every year – every good Canadian does – but I really cannot believe this summer flew by so fast.

Summer is my favourite season by far. I love sun, barbeques and the beach, but one of the things I love most about summer it gardening. A few months from now, when I’m shovelling 3 feet of snow from the driveway, the garden is what I’ll miss most. So with this summer drawing to a close, I thought I’d say farewell with one final burst of flowers.

Free Floral Wreath Vectors & PNG Clipart

This months freebie is a pretty set of free floral wreath vectors and PNG clipart. It includes 4 wreaths, 3 laurels, 4 branches and a few sweet and simple flowers. The art is crisp and clean, and looks great on light or dark backgrounds. These are fantastic for embellishing cards, invitations, tags and more!

Free Vector Wreaths

These floral wreaths are in my Wildflowers color theme. It’s the last fresh, pretty floral set for this year. After this it’s fall and Christmas, baby! If you’re looking for something more Autumn already, though, I have lots of additional colors available on my website. I’ll be adding them to Etsy and Creative Market soon too.

All of the Free Floral Wreath Vectors are high resolution and include PNG versions too. This makes them easy to scale up and down in size, and means they’ll look great in digital or print designs.

Ok, I know this is a basic thing, but I love what I see here, however I’m not sure what to do with it. The papers with the gold, for example. Is that something I would print on my printer? I have a Scan & Cut machine, would I use these floral designs on that? I just am not sure how to use all this beautiful stuff. Can I turn the vector art into svg files with Inkscape?

    • Reply AmandaIlkov August 27, 2015 at 6:33 pm

      Hi Kim,

You sound like me 2 years ago! :) I’m not sure about Inkscape because I’ve never used it (maybe someone else can chime in on that?). I believe you can turn EPS files into SVG files for your Scan & Cut, I’m just not sure what software you would need to do it. I believe the Cameo comes with Design Studio software that you can use to convert the files but I’m not sure about other brands…

Aside from that, most people create a design with the digital files using software like Photoshop or Illustrator, then print it. Or you can just print the art on paper / cardstock / fabric etc and use it in a physical project. People use them for designing invitations, crafts, stickers, digital scrapbooking, etc. I think the gold glitter looks best in digital designs, but I did see it on a printed card and it looked good!

Because the files are all digital, the possibilities are pretty much endless. :)

      I hope that helps!
      All the best,
      Amanda

These are beautiful Amanda! Thank you. BTW, when you are shoveling 3 feet of snow this coming winter and want to take a break, come visit us in Southern California. It’s not hot in December – it’s cool weather with highs in the 70s and low 50s at night – but the beach, sunshine, and foliage is always beautiful. xx

    • Reply AmandaIlkov August 27, 2015 at 9:03 pm

70s in December sounds like heaven, Vikki. It’s only 66 here today and it’s August!
I’ll think of you in sunny SoCal as I shovel! :)

      All the best,
      Amanda

These are absolutely gorgeous, but I, too am not sure exactly how to use them with my Silhouette (as svg files). I think I can bring the PNG files in, resize and then print so I can use them on a card. I sure hope so because they are so lovely! Thank you for sharing your talent!

    Mandy,
Thank you so much for the freebies!! I didn’t know if I had a program that I am able to use, that I could incorporate them into, but now that I know, that I do, I will be purchasing from you!! Kind of new to this, so I wasn’t sure. It was very simple to take from Photo Shop, and put into my card program, that I am used to. Beautiful, Fun Graphics!! Thank You, Mary P.
