Free Vector Dahlias – June Freebie

June 18, 2015
Free Vector Dahlias

Summer has finally arrived in Toronto and I couldn’t be happier.

After a snowy and record cold winter, and a cooler than usual spring, I am definitely ready for some sun!

One of my favorite summer activities is gardening, and I find lots of art inspiration in it. Although my garden isn’t in full bloom just yet, it’s definitely getting close. My veggies are growing like crazy and we’ve already eaten our first few strawberries and honey berries – yum!

The only problem with all the nice weather (if you can call it a problem), is that all sun outside makes it tough to sit in my office all day. When I need a long break, I sneak out of the city to Sheridan, one of my favorite garden nurseries. Browsing all the beautiful, colorful blooms inspires me to create something new. I always come home feeling refreshed and inspired.

Sharing the Dahlia Love

It was a recent trip to Sheridan that inspired me to create my June Freebie. I’ve loved dahlias since I was a little girl. They’re big, bright and cheerful. I always thought they looked like colorful pompoms decorating the garden. The garden center has so many pretty dahlia colors and varieties – I want to bring them all home with me. I envy those gardeners who have the space and sun to grow them!

Maybe I can’t grown them in my own garden, but creating my free vector dahlias is one way of enjoying them. And the best part? Now I can share the Dahlia Love with you!

Get Your Free Vector Dahlias

I be making lots of other colors available in my own shop, Etsy and Creative Market, but Navy & Blush has been such a popular color theme lately I thought I’d offer the Navy & Blush Dahlias as a freebie.

These free vector dahlias are seriously versatile. They include EPS and AI (CS5 and up) files, plus 96 PNG’s, so they’re easy to use in almost any software (even MS Word!). They look perfect over dark, light or textured backgrounds. Because there are 3 different outline options, they’re great for layering to create borders and frames. And hey, they’re free! Experiment!

Want to share your Dahlia creations? Tweet me a picture @MandyArtMarket or leave your link in the comments below!

As always, you may use this freebie for personal or small business projects,
but please do not sell, share or redistribute the files (even for free).

Hello Amanda, and thank you for the Free Dahlias… although I cannot find the link for them and the other links brought me here. 🙂 which is OK because I have some of your work and really enjoy it; especially because you include those PNG’s. I’d be lost without them.

I’m in NS so our summer is coming in late as well as yours. Keep up your wonderful work. You are a very talented person.
    Best Regards, Heather

      Hi Heather,
Thank you so much, I’m so glad to hear you enjoy my work!

Oh, yes! I think you get even short summers on the East Coast than we get here. You’ve got better scenery though. 🙂

You said you can’t find the link for the dahlias – just wanted make sure you got them! There’s a download link right at the bottom of the post… Please let me know at if you’re having any trouble getting them – I can send them to you directly!
      Thanks again,
