As a teenager and into my twenties, I spent a ton of time painting watercolors. I took lessons from a local artist, and my room (and later my first apartment) was always cluttered with paint tubes, brushes and palette trays. I even won a couple of local art shows! But I mostly painted buildings and cityscapes – nothing pretty enough to make good clipart with.
Because of what I do for a living, I’ve moved to digital art lately. Without the time to practice or space to work in (it’s next to impossible to keep my 3 year old out of my office!), my watercolor skills are rusty. I hope to get back to it one day because I, like everyone else, LOVE watercolor.
Lucky for me, my amazingly talented friend Sally was interested in teaming up to create a few watercolor clipart sets for my shop.
